Card games

The WashPost reports that the move of the Expos to Washington is causing some headaches to the people who develop computer baseball games and publish baseball cards. EA Sports, for example, has had to incorporate Nationals' uniforms, as well as RFK Stadium, into its MVP Baseball 2005 game, a process described as "pretty tedious". Topps also seems to be using computer applications to update its cards, namely, Photoshop: the company will introduce cards with "pictures of the players from their Expos days, but with new Nationals' uniforms superimposed." Gee, thanks for the effort. Upper Deck, meanwhile, goes old school and will actually take pictures of the actual players wearing the actual uniforms. That's just so 20th century…
